Congressional Black Caucus Chair, Marcia Fudge says the meeting with President Obama’s Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, was “good”.   The CBC has been upset over some of the federal judge appointments in Georgia and Alabama. At issue, the group is concerned about diversity issues surrounding the appointments in theses areas.

Meanwhile, President Obama is credited with appointing the most black federal judges than any other President.

The White House is announcing five new distinguished nominees to the federal bench, including one who would be the first-ever openly gay African-American male federal judge. Two are women; one is Hispanic.  The White House raised a new webpage on President Obama’s record.  http://www.whitehouse.gov/share/judicial-nominations.

Earlier this week, April Ryan raised questions during the White House daily briefing.
